Welcome to ERCVFD web site

The East Roane County Volunteer Fire Department has been proudly serving our community since 1982.

We cover approximately 90 square miles of beautiful East Roane County including the communities of Lawnville, Cave Creek, Bradbury, Dogwood Shores, and New Midway. We provide fire protection, emergency medical first-response, hazardous materials response, rescue support, non-emergency public assists and public education for over 9,000 residents. All of this is made possible through our volunteers and by donations from local businesses and residents as well as grants from county, state, and federal agencies.

Our goal is to provide the highest level of fire and First Response services to not only the citizens of our district but through mutual aid to any department who may need our assistance.  Our mission is to work with our citizens and other agencies to ensure the safety of the East Roane County Volunteer Fire Department response area.

This site will provide information on our staff and Board of Directors, as well as how you can become a member of the department.  Links to other agencies will also be available. The web site is continually updated and work to the site is ongoing to make sure we provide information that is relevant and of interest to you.  We hope will you will find this site interesting as well as informative and welcome your comments.
